It has been way too long since I have blogged, and I’ve had SO many amazing families, seniors, and weddings this fall I need to get around to sharing! Finally, as my husband and our friend from California are up playing Mario brothers (yes, they are grown men) I am knocking down the first gorgeous family on the list, no matter how many times I mess up in writing to the screech of coins gained and lives lost in my living Mario world over here

I must say, I could not get enough of these boys! When Katie saw her gallery, we couldn’t believe they looked like they were so happy together, because the majority of the time they were fighting over who could stand where- but we had fun playing tag and making their session something the boys would laugh about at their senior graduation as mom pulls out these gems from where they were younger… thanks Katie for letting me capture your beautiful family- you ALL look amazing

What a joy to be able to capture yet another gorgeous couple at the Village at Bay Harbor! We had a blast, and saw a lot of old faces from the past Kinda like a high school reunion, minus the tacky decor and bad food. I loved all the details Christy put into this special day! While it was a lot of work, nothing distracted her from her groom. Every moment from the time they saw eachother was pure bliss and Josh could not take his eyes off her. Christy, you are a beautiful bride, and Josh, you clean up nice- and have a great sense of style. No lie, my hubby came home and bought those shoes we liked them so much!  We were so honored to be a part of your special day, and wishing you nothing but happiness in your future!

In honor of September 11th, I thought it would be nice to post this adorable couple I had the chance to meet and capture their love story last week. Madeline is going to school full time in Iowa, and Chris is living in Virginia, and stationed in DC… so to say they have a long distance relationship would be an understatement, and you can see how scheduling a engagement session in Michigan was a bit tricky!

Madeline was getting her make-up done before the session, and from across the mall she saw her fiance (whom she hadn’t seen in quite some time) and dashed towards him and fell into his arms! {from the way the told it, it was a pretty emotional moment…} Needless to say, during their session, the googley-eyes were never ending as they showed their lovey-dovey side in front of the camera. It was also Madeline’s BIRTHDAY so Chris made sure to keep the extra kisses coming without hesitation…

To a beautiful couple, and the start of their new journey… wishing you nothing but the best during this season of preparation. Thank you to all the men and women who so bravely serve our country, so that we can daily live in freedom.

Madeline and Chris met at Central in the Music department. He saw her, and friended her on facebook, before online dating was “in” and fate took it’s role after that… so it was only appropriate to post a few of these ….

Every 1 year old should have the chance at a cake smash, and with Hailey Joy, it was more of a cake explosion! Mommy did such a great job making the cake (I almost reached in for a bite…) Hailey didn’t waste any time, as we all laughed in the studio, watching the amazement in her eyes as she noticed she wasn’t in trouble, while completely demolishing this amazing sugar coated goop in front of her.

Happy first birthday to an adorable little girl. May you always keep that contagious smile, and embrace the frosting between your toes.
