Dayna Mae Photography is a business run by Dayna Mager. Dayna is a certified professional wedding/studio/commercial photographer. She specializes in candid photography, making sure not a moment of your special day slips away. Her passion in photography has always been to capture the true character and personality of her clients. Whether it is a new couple beginning life’s journey together, a mother awaiting a newborn’s special touch, or a celebration of a 50th wedding anniversary, nothing archives a memory better than professional candid photography. Dayna continually strives to excel at her craft; keeping up with modern trends in photography, while also studying in workshops and continuing education classes. While she is currently working out of south eastern Michigan, she is not limited to these areas. She has photographed multiple destination weddings, and with her secondary degree in hair design, Dayna is the perfect candidate for brides desiring a wonderful hairstyle in a destination where no salons are nearby. She believes in bringing out everyones God-given beauty and expressing it through her photography. Dayna's personality is unforgettable. Her high-energy and positive approach to both photography and life in general, makes her extremely easy to get along with and feel comfortable around. Dayna has clearly found the joy of the Lord and it can be seen in everything she does. Despite the always stressful wedding day environment, Dayna stays exceptionally calm while continuing to capture the moments of the day and often calming the nerves of others as well. She's helped countless brides, newborns, and toddlers turn their tears into smiles.
Dayna's main assistant is Matt Mager. Matt is present during all weddings as well as occassional studio sessions when necessary. Most of Matt's work is done behind the scenes. The majority of the setup and tear down is done by Matt. The area where he truly flourishes is in the post production. Matt handles a lot of the business decisions, and also assists with some of the photo editing as well as the creation of the wedding slideshow keepsake DVDs. Matt feels that God has called him to pursue a career in Website Development/Design and his work can best be exemplified right here at DaynaMaePhotography.com. Our website is created and maintained entirely by Matt, and we couldn't be more pleased with his knowledge and expertise. Matt's Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems has already carried him through some exciting job opportunities and his career is quickly accelerating. He often expresses how his journey has been guided completely by God and that he understands that without the grace of God, he would be completely lost. His understanding of photography and computers makes him an excellent assistant to Dayna, and completes the perfect pair for all your photography needs and desires.
